Dermatology Department (12 Months Fixed Term)
We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Medical PA to join the Dermatology team within the Blood, Cells Cancer Unit.
The post holder will be responsible for the provision of an efficient secretarial service to a consultant team. They will liaise with all colleagues within the multidisciplinary team, internal departments and external agencies to ensure the continuity of patient treatment.
Core hours are 9.00am – 17:00pm. However, the post holder must be able to work flexibly to cover regular meetings that occur outside their normal working hours.
You must have excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. It is essential that applicants are able to prioritise work, handle difficult situations, have a flexible approach to working and being able work as part of a team
Previous administration experience is essential.
This post is full time – 37.5 hours per week.

To provide comprehensive administrative support the Dermatology team, to work in close co-operation with the team of administrative staff within the directorate of Blood, Cells and Cancer, the post holder will be expected to work as part of this team and provide cross cover for other team members within Dermatology as necessary.
It should be noted that this is an evolving role within Dermatology and that the post holder will have the opportunity to contribute to its development.
