Ward D4 West is a 30 bedded ward specialising in the Care of the Older Adult. The ward manager and her team are passionate about delivering excellent patient care that is evidence and research based.

You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of nursing assessment skills by supporting Band 5 Registered Nurses, Band 4 Assistant practitioners and Band 2 Health Care support Workers in their ongoing learning and professional development.

This post is Fixed Term/Secondment for 3 months due to the needs of the service.

Main duties of the job

Ward D4 West is a 30 bedded ward specialising in the Care of the Older Adult. The ward manager and her team are passionate about delivering excellent patient care that is evidence and research based.

You will be expected to demonstrate a high level of nursing assessment skills by supporting Band 5 Registered Nurses, Band 4 Assistant practitioners and Band 2 Health Care support Workers in their ongoing learning and professional development.

In addition you will be required to provide support and advice to patients and their families/carers. We are seeking an enthusiastic forward thinking nurse to enhance this motivated, well established team in delivering a high quality service.
