Consultant Stroke Physician

This exciting opportunity will involve working at the University Hospital of North Midlands (UHNM) covering all areas of stroke care, including hyper-acute stroke care, post stroke care and stroke rehabilitation.  UHNM is a tertiary referral centre offering  a 24/7 thrombectomy service.

Main duties of the job

The successful applicants will be expected to provide expert patient assessment in the diagnosis and management of patients in both in-patient and out-patient settings. They will be required to actively engage in and develop stroke services and to provide clinical leadership to others.  They will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide new ways of working across different professions, organisations i.e. community/primary care.
