Come and join Our Growing, Dynamic Radiology Department

We are seeking  Consultant Radiologists specialising in Cardiothoracic imaging to join our expanding team at Worthing  and St Richards and Royal Sussex County Hospital.

This is a pan-UHSussex service, which operates across all Trust sites. Successful candidates must be prepared to travel and work across all sites within the Trust as required.

The role requires a thorough grounding in clinical radiology including ultrasound and cross sectional skills. The post holder will be required to perform subspecialist Cardiothoracic imaging and associated reports,  also participate in MDM's as required.

An interest in paediatric imaging would be desirable as we enhance our children’s and young people’s imaging pathways.

Main duties of the job

The clinical duties of the post include the following:

  • General elective and acute (hot) reporting
  • Ultrasound  - general
  • Subspecialty scanning and reporting
  • MDM
  • Participation in on-call service
  • Supervision of radiology trainees

Teaching and training are an integral part with rotating radiology trainees and speciality training.
