Join us as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Community Eating Disorders. This is a new post in the Complex Eating Disorders Service, working alongside three other consultants.
The community role will involve direct clinical care and providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team (MDT) which includes specialist nurses, nurse therapists, clinical psychologist, dietitians, occupational therapists, social workers and peer support workers.

You’ll also inspire the next generation of psychiatrists through supervision of career grade and resident doctors, with opportunities to get involved in teaching.

In the community role, you will attend team meetings, formal multi-disciplinary reviews and case conferences, informal patient reviews and professionals’ discussions. Running regular clinics for new patient assessments and follow up.
