This is an opportunity to join a dynamic, progressive team with a multidisciplinary approach to glaucoma management, including consultant complex and standard clinics, optometry and nurse monitoring clinics, and community and hospital-based virtual clinics.
We provide a comprehensive service within secondary care, serving a population of 670,000. A range of specialist paediatric Ophthalmology services are provided within ABUHB with close links to the tertiary service at the University Hospital of Wales, less than 10 miles away.
The successful candidate will provide medical and surgical management within ophthalmology paediatrics, and will work in partnership with an enthusiastic Ophthalmology department and wider multidisciplinary team. Our existing consultants have sub—specialty interests in medical retina, uveitis, glaucoma, anterior segment, oculoplastics, paediatric ophthalmology, and strabismus. The department also benefits from an ECLO, and supportive senior management.
