Main duties of the job

We are pleased to advertise this substantive post for a consultant obstetrician. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a highly dedicated multidisciplinary maternity team.

As a Consultant Obstetrician at Princess Anne, you will work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team, including midwives, neonatologists, anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals, to deliver individualised, evidence-based care.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination among specialties, fostering a patient-centred approach to provide holistic care. Your expertise will extend to developing and implementing clinical protocols and guidelines, driving quality improvement initiatives, providing education and mentoring junior staff within the unit.
