We are looking for a Respiratory Consultant to join our team in delivering high-quality respiratory medical services at University Hospitals of Tees. The successful candidate will have a subspecialist focus on interstitial lung disease.
The successful applicant will join the enthusiastic and well-established respiratory team to provide clinical sessions within the Department of Respiratory Medicine and Lung Health.
The post is outpatient and inpatient respiratory based. The post holder will contribute to GIM evening and weekend on-call commitments (1 in 6 weekends and 1 in 12 weekday evenings) as part of the overall job plan, carrying a 3% availability supplement. There are separate rotas for GI bleeding and Stroke.
This post is based predominantly at the University Hospital of North Tees with expectation to provide some cross site cover at James Cook University Hospital. Office accommodation and secretarial support will be provided, as will computer/internet access.
