Consultant in General Radiology with special interest Acute, MSK & Whole Body MRI

LNWUH NHS Trust is looking for a dynamic and motivated radiologist to join a team of 60 consultants, three staff grade doctors and 23 residents working collaboratively across the three sites to provide high quality imaging service.

The successful candidate will contribute to the broad spectrum of work undertaken by our consultant radiologists as detailed in the job description.

Post-holders will be expected to cover all sites as part of the acute Radiology management.  Commitments will include relevant MDTs, imaging-guided procedures, plain radiograph, CT and MRI reporting.

Applicants must have full GMC Registration and be on the Specialist Register or be eligible for inclusion within six months of the interview date.

Main duties of the job

You'll become part of our new & developing Whole Body MRI service as well as expanding MSK focussed team supporting our Orthopaedic, Haematology and adjunct cancer services.

Responsibilities will include acute, elective and on call work.  Teaching and training are actively encouraged.  There will be an on-call commitment which will include weekend working.  Opportunities for teaching and management are ample.

The department is highly regarded across London, having developed innovative and integrated solutions in response to the changing needs of patients and clinical teams.
