This is a less than full time (8PA) substantive replacement NHS Consultant Post in Community Sexual and Reproductive Health. The post holder will be employed by Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LUHFT). The post will be based within the Liverpool axess sexual health service with clinical provision to axess Liverpool service. We are seeking to recruit a Consultant with specialist skills in integrated sexual health (including Complex contraception provision & management of sexually transmitted infections).
Less than full time working (LFTW) and timetable flexibility are available.

Axess Sexual Health (Liverpool) is the largest Sexual Health service provider in Cheshire & Merseyside and one of the largest sexual health providers in the UK.
Axess Liverpool has a total annual attendance of approximately 83,000 patient contacts per year. The service is open 6 days a week and provides open access sexual health clinics. There are specialist clinics available for Young People, HIV, PrEP, men who have sex with men (MSM), Trans and non-binary people, Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) clinics, Complex contraception (including ultrasound), Genital Dermatology and sexual problems (Sexual Problems Service).
The appointment will be a less than full time (8PA) substantive replacement NHS Consultant Post in Community Sexual and Reproductive Health, Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (part of NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group) with office accommodation provided at axess Liverpool.
The post is based at axess Liverpool (The Beat, Liverpool city centre).
The appointee must hold the MFSRH or equivalent and hold Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent and/or specialist registration with the GMC in Community Sexual & Reproductive Health, or be within six months of CCT at the time of the appointment.
The post has 8 Programmed Activities – 6.5 for direct patient care and 1.5 for supporting activities (including training). Final timetable will be confirmed with the successful candidate on appointment and reviewed after an appropriate period in line with the trusts job planning policy, flexible and further less than full time working will be considered.
