You would be part of an ambitious and friendly team within one of the UK’s leading Cancer Centres. We have an impressive track record of leading clinical research and the developments of ne treatments. We are part of a progressive cancer network which is driven to improve outcomes and experience for patients living with cancer across South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire.
The hospital is home to busy inpatient and outpatient units, a hemotherapy day case unit, a large radiotherapy suite, and research centre. We also provide outpatient services within off-site clinical facilities and our neighbouring District General Hospital, as well as deliver SACT within five additional day case units across the region.
The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues be responsible for the provision of cancer services across the above mentioned disease sites.
The appointee will join established multidisciplinary teams for these cancers.
Successful candidates will be expected to participate in our acute oncology and on-call services rota which currently equates to 0.11 PA. The successful candidate will work according to the terms and conditions of the national consultant contract.
