The Community Staff Nurse role is part of the skill mix team, led by Specialist Community Public Health Nurses, to deliver the Healthy Child Programme (HCP). You will need excellent communication and collaborative working skills to work with children, young people and families and other professionals to improve health outcomes in Worcestershire.
You will do this through delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, Health Promotion and Education, Safeguarding and Early Intervention. Your focus will be on the health needs of the child or young person and ensuring their voice is heard. You will be supported to become confident in decision making and contributing to multi-agency meetings.
This is a busy and challenging community-based role. We utilise virtual and digital technology to deliver elements of our service, and an element of agile working is supported in this role however, being able to meet the travel requirements of the role is essential.
