Job overview

We are looking for an Administrator to join our Community Nursing Team. You will support the Community Nursing service to deliver care to people in their own homes by providing administrative support to the team. We offer a supportive environment with opportunities for further career development

Main duties of the job

  • Providing administrative support for the Community Nursing teams.
  • Maintain effective communication across the service and deal in a professional, helpful, and sensitive manner with patients, carers, staff and other agencies by telephone and face to face.
  • Assist in the efficient and accurate recording of data on all required electronic systems including the Trust system RIO.
  • Ordering and maintaining stocks of nursing supplies, stationary, equipment and resources for the team via the Trusts procurement systems.
  • Type confidential correspondence, reports and other documentation to a high standard within agreed timescales
  • Attend meetings where the information may be complex and sensitive, taking and transcribing minutes at Community Nursing meetings and forums
