Community Mental Health Nurse

An opportunity has become available for a two year full time fixed term contact or a two year secondment for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse within the Inverness Community Mental Health Team. The Inverness CMHT covers the city of Inverness and outlying areas and consists of a multi-disciplinary team which includes Psychiatrists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Administrative / Support staff. The Team is based at New Craigs Hospital. The postholder will be required to manage a defined caseload of patients experiencing acute and enduring mental health issues and will have responsibilities for ensuring quality standards are met through the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for patients.

The successful candidate will be an experienced Mental Health Nurse who is enthusiastic, patient centred and focused on their approach. This post requires Mental Health Nursing registration with the UK NMC and a full UK driving license.
