We are currently seeking Registered Mental Health Nurses to become part of our dedicated Community Mental Health Team. Based at  Saffron House in High Wycombe, our team is committed to providing exceptional care and treatment to adults with mental health challenges. Our goal is to deliver patient-centred care of the highest quality, while supporting our staff in their roles and fostering their professional growth.

We also collaborate with third-sector workers who specialise in employment, housing, and social needs. To bridge the gap between patients and clinicians, we have also introduced Peer Support Workers who bring the invaluable perspective of lived experience.

This role is eligible for an incentive scheme of £3,500 paid at intervals over an 18-month period. All payments are pro-rata, non-pensionable and subject to a clawback clause. Please note that only employees external to Oxford Health NHS are eligible for this scheme.  Please note if you are based outside of the UK you will need to hold HCPC registration in order to be considered for this role

  • Partner with service users and their families/carers to create and execute treatment plans that ensure safety, promote well-being, and support independence and community inclusion.
  • Provide interventions following NICE guidelines to promote recovery and prevent relapse in various settings, regularly reviewing care and outcomes.
  • Support and supervise junior team members, act as a mentor/preceptor to student nurses/trainees, and participate in clinical education and practice development initiatives.
