We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated Community phlebotomist to join our friendly team in the Community setting.
Your role will involve working independently and as part of a team. You will be part of a highly dedicated team with a focus to provide high, safe quality care for patients in their own homes obtaining blood samples and health monitoring as requested by health professionals.
This role requires excellent communication skills and it is essential that you have the ability to work on your own initiative and can work independently
The department is committed to support continuous education and professional development.
Anyone newly appointed to the trust will be subject to the completion of a satisfactory 6 month probationary period (this includes bank staff). This will give the new staff member an opportunity to become familiar with the role and working environment.
Taking bloods as requested by healthcare professionals for patients in their own homes-Driving will be necessary
Undertaking ECG's as requested
Health monitoring including undertaking NEWS2
Undertake accurate and comprehensive electronic patient records
