An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and motivated person to take on the role of a Band 3 Community Health Care Support Worker for Babies, Children & Young People the Community based within the Children’s Nursing Service.
This is an exciting and varied role and the successful candidate will be required to work as part of team supporting babies, children and young people in a range of community settings including the child's own home and schools.
Candidates must possess a level 3 qualification in health and social care or an equivalent level 3 qualification. The candidate will have experience of working with children and young people and ideally have experience of working with children with complex healthcare needs.
Training and support will be given to the successful applicant to enable them to deliver aspects of the role.
Powys teaching Health Board offers a comprehensive induction programme and the post holder would be given the opportunity to develop their knowledge, experience and skills within a friendly and supportive environment.
