We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic, motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 caseload holder or qualified District Nurse to join our Community Nursing team in Mid West Beds. This highly respected team is based in Steppingley Hub and delivers responsive, high quality nursing to patients in their own homes. Main duties of the job

We are looking for an experienced community nurse, looking for the next step in their career, community nursing services are expanding in line with the 10 year plan to provide more care in the community, this is an exciting place to be at this time. We are seeking a motivated and passionate Senior Nurse to support the community teams to deliver person centred, research based care. You will have the skills and experience to manage your own caseload, which will be aligned to the GP practice and  residential homes within the area. You will be working with the Mid West team, covering Ampthill, Flitwick, Barton, Woburn and surrounding villages. Excellent communication and time management skills, and sound clinical knowledge, are essential skills.  A flexible approach is required to accommodate the changing needs of the service along with the drive to influence service development.

You must have a driving license and have access to a vehicle in order to carry out your duties.  You will be required to work a 7.5 hour shift pattern covering 7 days a week.

This is a fulltime post - 37.5 hours
