We would love for you to join our Communication Hub team within Hywel Dda University Health Board.

The successful applicant will be supporting the Health Board’s single point of contact for a variety of services.

This is a dynamic patient and staff facing service, so embracing change, and demonstrating excellent communication is at the heart of the Communication Hub.

The Communication Hub is a busy, fast growing service. Our purpose is to deliver a single point of contact for the staff and patients of services across the health board.

We work closely with numerous teams, and respond quickly to the needs of the Health Board, which relies on excellent communication, being solution focused and responding positively to change.

Main duties of the job

You will be responsible for supporting teams by inputting and answering various queries, booking appointments and processing referrals; via email, telephone and Microsoft forms and supporting members of the public and staff. The ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and keyboard skills (including attention to detail) are very important. Training will be given on our various software platforms.

If successful you will work on a 7 day rota. Shifts will be between the hours of 8am-5pm, full time. You will be based in the Communication Hub at the Health Board headquarters site at St Davids Park, Carmarthen.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
