This is an exciting 12-month opportunity to be part of the Neurodevelopmental Service

As CTM you will provide line management and support for the Multi-Disciplinary Teams within the Neurodevelopmental Service. You will work in partnership with the Operational Manager,  Service Manager, Head of Operations and Clinical Leads (ADHD and LADS) to develop and provide an accessible, responsive and specialist city-wide Neurodevelopmental Service.  Leeds Autism Diagnostic Service provides diagnostic assessment and enhanced consultancy for adults in Leeds and also has a remit to provide autism training for other Trust services.  The Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Service provides a diagnostic and treatment service for adults within Leeds.

Main duties of the job

  • Manage the operational functioning of the team in providing high quality service to service users, contributing to overall service development.
  • Be line manager for MDT members and undertake the full range of people management responsibilities.
  • Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive, targeted and user focused Neurodevelopmental service through effective management, prioritisation and liaison with key stakeholders of the service (internal and external).
  • Lead on the investigation of clinical incidents and complaints (informal and formal) in accordance with Trust procedure, complaints policy and undertake service reviews and inspections.
  • Undertake budget monitoring and work with the Operational Manager in relation to financial management of the service.
  • Act as a champion for the service, demonstrating a participative and supportive management style with a commitment to team working.
  • Participate in the clinical functions, assessment, formulation and delivery of care intervention.
