Job overview

We currently have opportunities for three Clinical Team Leader posts within inpatient wards in the Low Secure and Forensic Community Directorate.

As a Clinical Team Leader, you will support the Ward Manager in providing operational leadership and day‑to‑day management of nursing staff, working closely within a multi‑disciplinary team. You will play a key role in developing effective care pathways and promoting recovery‑focused, patient‑centred care across all stages of treatment.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to act as a professional role model for nursing staff. You will contribute to maintaining high standards of care while supporting staff development and service improvement within a secure environment.

Applicants must be current Band 5 Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurses within West London Forensic Services, with at least 18 months’ experience. You will be a motivated and resilient individual, capable of managing complex clinical situations and supporting high‑quality care delivery.

This is a challenging but rewarding role, offering an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills while enhancing care outcomes for service users.
