An exciting full-time opportunity has opened at Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust to apply for one of our  Clinical Teaching Fellow (CTF) roles  based  on a one-year fixed term. One of the three vacancies is exclusive to  an  individual with previous CTF experience.

We invite you to join our dynamic and enthusiastic undergraduate team committed to enhancing the teaching experience of all medical students within the Trust.

Hampshire Hospitals provides Clinical Placements for a significant number of medical students both from Southampton Medical School and St George’s Medical School, Grenada, as well as Physician Associate students and Elective students. These Clinical Teaching Fellow posts will involve delivering teaching to all these students.

Main duties of the job

The posts are linked to a clinical speciality, agreed with the post holder on appointment, where they will carry out clinical work for one day a week. The remaining 80% of the post will be spent undertaking various undergraduate teaching activities. The successful candidate will also be encouraged to undertake a Certificate in Medical Education, which will be funded.

You must be prepared to provide a commitment to the provision of a high-quality undergraduate educational experience.
