Describe What the candidate will do : The Clinical Teaching Fellow (CTF) role is a trust doctor role that exists to support, develop and deliver undergraduate medical education within Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust (LTHT) across the MBChB programme.
The role includes teaching core curriculum and student guided topics, alongside supporting clinical placements. The educational resources are constantly refreshed and reviewed, allowing CTFs to be involved in all stages of their development. The teaching produced is innovative, using a range of different modalities, including small group, simulation, bedside and technology enhanced learning.
Student support and wellbeing is a key focus within the role and all the team work collaboratively to ensure an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all.

This role is based at The Undergraduate Hub at St James's University Hospital (SJUH) but will involve work across all Trust sites. The Hub plays a crucial role in the student experience at LTHT and is well recognised by students for not only delivering a quality core curriculum but also as a place to receive individualised learning and welfare support.
