Clinical Support Worker - LTHT Staff Bank

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) is one of the largest and busiest NHS acute healthcare providers in Europe and is a regional and national centre for specialist treatment.

We are delighted to be offering new flexible, full and part time opportunities for Clinical Support Workers with significant experience wishing to join our workforce as Bank Only staff.

We welcome applications from Clinical Support Workers who have a Care Certificate, and at least 6 months acute hospital experience who would like to undertake flexible working hours in a range of specialties across our multi-site organisation.

Interviews for this post will be held on the following dates - Tuesday 22nd October, Wednesday 23rd October, Thursday 24th October

This role is advertised as a Bank role, and therefore the job holder would be on a LTHT Bank Contract. This enables the job holder to work flexibly and ad hoc basis across all LTHT sites, supporting the staffing requirements by opting for and booking in to shifts as available. The pay rate will be that of a Band 2 Bank Spot Salary.

The jobholder will be actively involved in providing direct and indirect compassionate care for patients in support of and supervised by a registered practitioner.

The jobholder will assist in the overall implementation of care as part of the multi professional team. The jobholder is expected to deliver and maintain high standards of acute and planned care. The jobholder will be skilled in taking appropriate action(s) to achieve the planned outcome.
