We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced mental health practitioner to work in the recently merged Harrogate and Ripon Community Treatment Team

Main duties of the job
The Community Treatment Team covers the Harrogate and Ripon District area in North Yorkshire
Working alongside the team manager and existing clinical specialist, the successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously in a fast paced environment and provide clinical leadership within the team utilising skills to support team members, the role also maintains the offer of intervention and therapies to a defined caseload.
Though not essential it would be advantageous if you hold a non medical prescribing qualification or be experienced in delivering one of the governed psychological therapies, such as DBT, CAT, CBT, or EMDR.
The post holder will be part of a resilient and professional team working collaboratively with internal and external partners to support the needs of those who are experiencing a deterioration in their mental health and their family carer needs.
You will be able to develop and demonstrate clinical leadership, supervisory and coaching skills and a comprehensive knowledge of mental health care, the Mental Health Act and complex risk assessment.
Strong team working is essential, requiring networking with a variety of people, as well as working in partnership with a range of different agencies both internal and external to the team.
