We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced research practitioner or research allied health professional or nurse to join an exciting NIHR-funded study. The study is a randomised effectiveness – implementation feasibility trial evaluating a community-based exercise and peer support intervention for individuals on waiting lists for total knee replacement surgery.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the study, supporting its operational delivery, and leading on data collection and analysis, working closely with the wider research team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with a background in applied health research, including experience with both qualitative and quantitative research methods. You will be supported in further developing your research skills within a dynamic and collaborative team. There may also be opportunities to contribute to other high-quality research projects, depending on study needs.
A strong commitment to improving patient outcomes and the ability to work proactively and collaboratively with researchers, patients, and public contributors is essential.
This is a full-time position offered on a fixed-term contract for 24 months, subject to successful study progress. Contract is anticipated to start early 2026, with exact dates being confirmed/agreed during interview process.
