We are seeking to recruit two highly motivated, enthusiastic and compassionate Clinical Psychologists / CBT Psychotherapists within the Early Intervention Service (EIS) and the At Risk Mental State (ARMS) team. We would also welcome applications from newly qualified or soon-to-be-qualified psychologists / CBT psychotherapists who would like to consolidate their skills at B7. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your therapeutic skills, working in a supportive group of clinical psychologists, CBT psychotherapists and family therapists. You will be required to deliver evidence-based psychological approaches to our service users, as identified in the National guidelines, including cognitive behavioural therapy and family interventions. Indirect work includes facilitating multi-disciplinary reflective practice groups and team formulation sessions, supervision, consultation, running teaching & training, and audit/research, as well as opportunities for community and outreach development work.
To provide a qualified specialist clinical psychology/psychological therapy service to service users of the Early Intervention Service (EIS) At Risk Mental State (ARMS) pathway. To provide specialist psychological assessment and therapy at the same time as offering advice and consultation on service users’ psychological care to psychologist/therapist colleagues, non-psychologist colleagues and to other, non-professional carers. In common with all Clinical Psychologists/Psychological Therapists, to receive regular clinical supervision in accordance with good practice.

To contribute to the development and maintenance of the highest professional standards of practice, through active participation in internal and external CPD training and development programmes, in consultation with the post-holder’s professional and service manager(s).
To contribute to the development and articulation of best practice in psychology/psychological therapy across the service, by continuing to develop the skills of a reflexive and reflective scientist practitioner, taking part in regular professional supervision and appraisal, and maintaining an active engagement with current developments in the field of clinical psychology/psychological therapy and related disciplines.
To maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping including electronic data entry and recording, report writing and the responsible exercise of professional self-governance in accordance with professional codes of practice of the HCPC, BABCP, and Trust policies and procedures.
To maintain up to date knowledge of legislation, national and local policies and issues.
To attend and contribute to relevant professional meetings.
To develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues within Sheffield Health Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust and in the statutory and voluntary services with the aim of promoting high standards of care and clinical practice
To maintain professional registration as a Clinical Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council OR to maintain accreditation as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) OR to maintain professional registration as a Psychotherapist with the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
