An exciting opportunity has been created for a Clinical Nurse Specialist with experience in children and young people with learning disabilities to join the LD Youth CAMHS team based at Oulton near Lowestoft, Suffolk. We are a specialist service for children, adolescents and young adults (0-25) with a learning disability where there are concerns about their behaviour, emotional well-being or mental health and whose needs cannot be met in mainstream services. This will be a varied role, whilst the successful candidate will be a non-medical prescriber, the role will bring exciting responsibilities and challenges; they will offer clinical leadership to our nursing tea, provide support to our MDT and hold a small case load of complex cases. They will support in undertaking clinical audits, to help drive positive change to improve patient experience. The successful candidate will be required to travel as part of the post therefore a full driving license and access to a car is essential.
