An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Leeds Hydrocephalus Service for a part time (15hrs per week) Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic and dedicated CNS to provide highly specialised care to our patients. Experience in Neurosurgery with at least 3 years experience at Band 6 level is required for this role, and to support the nursing and medical teams.
The Hydrocephalus Service in Leeds provides acute and elective care and this role helps facilitate the smooth running of the LTHT Shunt Care Pathway. The role involves assessing patients and making clinical decisions on care (within your clinical knowledge, competence and Trust guidelines), as well as making specialist clinical decisions and working autonomously. You will work collaboratively with the wider MDT team, referring patients to other services where appropriate.

The Hydrocephalus CNS works within the Neurosurgery Service.
