If you answered yes, then come join us. We are seeking an occupational therapist to work across Worcestershire and deliver clinical excellence across the service. The Reablement team assists patients requiring additional support and rehabilitation on discharge from hospital, and those in the community who need increased care or therapy input. Assessments are holistic, person centred, and focused on maximising independence. Patients are at the heart of everything we do.
This is a 30 hours per week post, with job share considered
As a reablement team member, you will:
Work closely with therapists and social care teams, having the unique opportunity to experience both of these sectors whilst with us.
Lead projects focused on clinical excellence and quality metrics.
Manage a small but highly complex caseload, spanning all specialities.
Provide clinical supervision and leadership to the therapy team, supporting with complex case work and clinical development.
work closely with both health and social care colleagues, in a blended approach to patient care.
Physiotherapists, nurses, occupational therapists, therapy assistants and social care staff undertake collaborative working on a daily basis to ensure that all patient needs are met.
Regular clinical supervision and professional support are provided. We positively encourage any special interests which complement the patient demographic that we see.
The post is based on a 4 shift weekly pattern. Flexible working arrangements considered
