Job summary

Clinical Fellow/Trust Grade Doctor in the department of Paediatric Radiology We are inviting applications to fill our Clinical Fellow/Trust Grade Doctor vacancy at The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Department of Paediatric Radiology This post will commence September 2026 and is fixed term for 12 months. Candidates must be fully registered with the General Medical Council and hold a license to practice by the intended start date.

Main duties of the job

Leeds Childrens Hospital provides a wide range of specialist paediatric care, which is greater than most childrens hospitals in the UK. These specialities include: There are excellent facilities including 4 dedicated paediatric ultrasound rooms, 2 mobile ultrasound machines, 2 radiographic rooms, a fluoroscopy suite, nuclear medicine facilities, shared use of 1.5 and 3.0 Tesla MRI scanners, three multi-slice CT scanners and an angiography suite. This vibrant and supportive department offers potential candidates the opportunity to gain exposure to a wide spectrum of Paediatric Radiology with a diverse and fascinating case load. Dedicated training in a variety of sub-specialties including paediatric intervention can also be offered. Active involvement in audit, research, presentation at national and international meetings as well as participation in local courses is strongly encouraged. Leeds Teaching Hospitals is home to the West Yorkshire Radiology Academy and during the position contribution to the teaching of Radiology resident doctors will be expected.
