Job summary

To provide an opportunity to develop clinical competencies related to older persons mental healthcare which are highly transferable for many future career pathways.

Main duties of the job

The clinical aspect of the post includes experience of old age liaison psychiatry within the Mental Health Liaison Team based in University Hospitals of Leicester and in The Memory Assessment Service both in the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust . There will be appropriate clinical supervision in place for the trainee. The Fellow will be actively involved in supporting the learning needs of undergraduate medical and nursing students in clinical placement.
