This 12 month fixed term maternity cover will play an essential role in supporting Matrons and Senior Sisters by facilitating education, training and practice development within Child Health establishing a high standard of education for all clinically based staff.
The post holder will work in partnership with Senior Sisters, and will be responsible for implementing evidence based, patient focused practice. They will work within the clinical area, working with staff to facilitate the development of skills in order to integrate education and practice development, thus enhancing quality care delivery from both registered and unregistered workforce.
The post holder will lead and facilitate audit and research and will function as a role model for staff within the clinical area, enabling and supporting the development of interdisciplinary and cross site working to ensure the sharing of good practice and delivery of high quality, effective and efficient care.
This role is typically Monday to Friday, however we are open discussing alternative shift patterns.
