NHS Fife Psychology Service is a large, friendly and supportive place to work. We provide a service to the whole of Fife that includes all the major clinical specialties. We have an excellent reputation for innovation and developing staff, and this is a particularly exciting time to be working in our department. We are working hard to enhance psychologically-informed care and practice across Fife.
We would like you to join our project piloting a brief psychological assessment and formulation with neurodivergent adults. Successful candidate/s will demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm in working with neurodivergent people, providing excellent clinical care within the project protocol, and contributing to service redesign and development to best meet the needs of our patients. Delivery of some group intervention will be involved, as well as supporting creation of digital resources. There will be opportunities to develop your clinical expertise as well as for research and service evaluation to support this programme of work.
This post is based in the Learning Disability and Neurodevelopmental Psychology Team. It is funded by the Scottish Government on a fixed term basis to deliver and evaluate an exciting innovative approach for neurodivergent adults. The post can be based either at Lynebank or Stratheden Hospital and some travel to different locations across Fife will be required, as well as some online delivery.
You will have access to regular clinical and managerial supervision, and will work closely with other colleagues delivering this project. The Fife Psychology service also has an active in-house CPD programme.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
