We currently have a vacancy for a full time Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist. This post would be 2 days working in neonates at the new Midland Metropolitan Hospital and 3 days working in the community focusing on dysphagia and some communication input as required - usually complex needs and/or AAC

Assessment, diagnosis, advice and support for children across Sandwell.
We work with children aged from 0 to 16 or older if in full time education.
This post would involved working with an AHP team within the neonates service at Midland Metropolitan Hospital - this team includes a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, a Dietician and a Psychologist.
You will work alongside a diverse, multidisciplinary team including Neonatal Consultants, Nurses, Infant Feeding Teams, AHPs, Psychologists, to deliver evidence-based care and support, ensuring the best outcomes for our neonatal patients.
We also provide a service in schools, clinics, nurseries and children's own homes.
We are an award winning team and have been recognised as Outstanding by CQC. We are the authors of WellComm Early Years and WellComm Primary – both of which are published language screens that are used nationally. We are currently developing a new WellComm product.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our Integrated Children’s Community Therapy Service in Sandwell (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech & Language Therapy).
