We are looking for a  Band 6 Physiotherapists to join our Children’s Community Physiotherapy Team in Redbridge, on a 9 month fixed term contract on a part time basis (27.75 hours/week) to cover for maternity leave. Main duties of the job

You will join a dynamic and supportive team in delivering a high standard of physiotherapy service to children and families in Redbridge- providing specialised assessment and intervention for children and young people aged 0-19, who have complex developmental needs.

As a children’s physiotherapist in our Community team, you will be responsible for your own caseload and delivering therapeutic care in various settings including clinic, the child’s home, special schools, mainstream schools and nurseries, community settings, as well as virtually.  Specialist opportunities exist to gain experience working in our well established multi-disciplinary team in the Child development team and special schools.  This post provides the opportunity to work in a variety of settings in the community and to gain experience of working with children and young adults with many varying conditions.

Physiotherapists, working as part of Specialist Children’s services and the wider multi-agency team in Redbridge, are core to the efficient service delivery that we provide to our children and families and improving outcomes for children and young people.
