A vacancy has arisen for a Children Looked After Nurse to work within Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust Integrated Safeguarding team.
As a CLA nurse you will hold a caseload of children 16-18 years who are not in education, employment or training. You will be responsible for monitoring their health needs and supporting them as they transition to adulthood.
The post holder will provide a safe and effective health service to children and young people looked after by local authorities and placed within the local authority boundary of Wirral. The post requires good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable, and approachable.
The post holder will provide specialist advice, support, and training on Children Looked after to all WCHC staff; taking a leading role in matters relating to the health and wellbeing of looked after children.
