Job overview

We are looking for an inspiring and forward thinking Chief People Officer to join our Executive Leadership Team and Board.

This is a pivotal role, responsible for delivering the full people agenda, to enhance staff experience, and to ensure CLCH continues to grow as an inclusive, values driven organisation.

The Trust is progressing to be an Advance Foundation Trust.  This role will help us shape how we deliver for our staff and embed the strategy in the delivery of Neighbourhood Healthcare.  As we transform the way health and care is delivered in the UK, this role will be pivotal in shaping not only our thinking and delivery, but also how we learn across our partners, systems and nationally. You will lead on the development and ongoing implementation of our 5-year people strategy, organisational development, workforce planning, and staff engagement. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Board Members, and system partners, you will help ensure CLCH remains an outstanding place to work.

Main duties of the job

What we’re looking for: •    A dynamic, compassionate leader with senior level experience across HR, OD, workforce transformation, or people strategy. •    Proven success delivering people agendas at scale in complex organisations. •    Strong partnership building capability with staff, unions, executives, and system partners. •    A deep commitment to equality, diversity, inclusion, and colleague wellbeing. •    Someone who embodies the values of compassionate leadership and continuous improvement.

If you are an inspirational leader ready to make a meaningful difference for thousands of colleagues and the communities we serve, we would love to hear from you.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Applicants are expected to present clear and relevant evidence of the competencies and responsibilities detailed in the attached Job Description and Person Specification, together with a demonstrated commitment to the Trust’s values of Accountability, Inclusion, Compassion, and Empowerment.
