The role is part time, working 20 hours per week. It involves supporting the Head Cashier for the repayment of travel expenses under the Healthcare Travel Cost Scheme, safe custody of cash and patients property; accurate recording of financial transactions; maintenance of petty cash and change floats; collection of cash from various departments if required and prompt banking.
The role will also include dealing with telephone enquiries from patients, colleagues and other healthcare providers, diary management and utilising various computer applications.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong communication skills, prioritisation, and an ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong concentration and attention to detail are also important aspects of this post.
