An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Cardiac Scientist at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.  We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our busy and friendly team. The applicant should be experienced in both non-invasive diagnostics and invasive/ PCI, angio, brady implants and should be working as an independent cardiac practitioner in these areas.

The Trust offers a range of invasive and non-invasive investigations including Physiologist led exercise stress testing, tilt testing, ambulatory monitoring, device follow-up and complex invasive procedures including angiography, PCI, PPM, ICD / CRT implantation and EP. The Tunbridge Wells Hospital site holds BSE Departmental Accreditation in Transthoracic echocardiography, Stress Echo, TOE, Contrast and Bubble Studies. We run a Physiologist Led Valve Clinic at both sites and assist in the Rapid Access Heart Failure Clinic. The Maidstone site is currently in the process of applying for accreditation. We also run a physiologist lead ILR implant service.

Due to a rapidly expanding cardiology service, significant investment is planned for the service. This will provide an exciting opportunity to be involved in the cutting edge of cardiology and to help shape future cardiac services in Kent.
