Capital Projects Manager (Ref: 214855)
Fixed term for 22 months
Full Time – 37 hours per week
Band 7* - Salary Range £48,788 - £56,747 per annum (pro rata)
Distant Islands Allowance of £2,380 per annum (pro rata)
An opportunity has arisen to recruit within our Estates and Facilities Department to lead on multiple capital refurbishment and building projects to support the on-going delivery of healthcare within the Isles.
A project management focussed, self-motivated and experienced person to assist with the management and control of all the resources, dedicated to the procurement and delivery of a diverse programme of major and minor capital construction works with the NHS Shetland Estate. This contract is for a fixed-term for 22 months with the possibility of extension after that. The reason for the fixed-term contract is due to the currently agreed funding allocations to support specific projects.
