Lambeth CAMHS are looking to recruit into a new post, a Learning Disability Nurse  to our community CAMHS service to support our Neurodevelopmental Pathway.

Experienced and motivated RLDN RMN or RCN  with  experience of working with children and young people with Neuro diverse presentations including ASD, LD & ADHD. The Post holder will be a care coordinator and provide therapeutic support for children, young people and their families of the Lambeth CAMHS Neuro-developmental Pathway, which is part of the River team (Tier 3 service) The main team base is located at Mary Sheridan centre Wooden Spoon House  SE11 4TH

Main duties of the job

• To provide care coordination & therapeutic support for CYP & families in Lambeth CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Pathway.
• Clinical assessment, treatment, risk assessment, planning, implementation and monitoring of outcomes for neuro-diverse children and young people across the tiers of intervention in CAMHS
• Deliver groups to support the wellbeing of CYP and families referred to the service.
• Opportunity to provide, support, training, consultation and advice for junior team members and/or other clinicians on issues of neurodiversity across the service.
• To work in close contact with other clinicians in the NDP to further develop and enhance the clinical offer for CYP with  neurodevelopmental conditions across Lambeth.
• The post holder will sit in the Lambeth CAMHS Community Team (River Team tier 3).
