This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with young people, their families/carers who are suffering from complex serious mental illness in a variety of settings during crisis and post crisis using a range of therapeutic approaches and interventions. As per ABUHB policies we would be open to considering flexi hours working and negotiable to part time hours for the right candidate.
To have the necessary interpersonal skills to develop a therapeutic alliance with emotionally distressed young people and their families/carers. To have the necessary professionalism to provide containment to concerned professionals outside of service. To provide a responsive and equitable service to young people experiencing a mental health crisis requiring specialist intensive support mainly in the community or inpatient settings. To be competent in identifying Safeguarding concerns and make appropriate referrals. To participate in a range of multi-disciplinary discussions and care planning with other professionals. To maintain effective electronic systems for recording, reporting and distributing clinical information.

Experience of liaison with a variety of agencies to support patients and carers stabilisation and recovery in the community or ward environment. To have understanding and experience of WARRN Risk Formulation and safety planning. Responsible for the CAMHS assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of treatment of care to young people with complex mental health problems and disorders.
