Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrator to join a call and recall provision, for outstanding vaccinations, within our Community and School Aged Immunisation Service at Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust.

Main duties of the job

The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic and highly motivated with a desire to improve the health and wellbeing of the community.

This role will work on a rota basis across Monday to Saturday, 10am to 8pm as a member of the Call & Recall Team for HCT.

The post holder will telephone families and carers of children and young people who are missing routine vaccinations across Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Luton, Milton Keynes and Hertfordshire. This will include following a set script, and booking appointments, and tracking outcomes and responses to these calls on an agreed template. Support will be provided by clinicians, who will be on hand to respond to complex queries raised by families/carers.

Ideally you will have experience of working in a health care setting.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

You will have excellent communication skills both oral and written and be able to communicate effectively with the public and work colleagues . You will be IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. The ability to organise and plan your workload is essential.  Willingness to complete any training to fulfill the role is essential.
