Job overview

Thank you for your interest in the exciting role of Business Manager to the Chief Operating Officer here at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal position at the heart of one of the UK’s most dynamic and forward-thinking NHS trusts.

This role is both rewarding and challenging – perfect for someone who thrives on variety, pace, and purpose. You’ll be working directly with the Chief Operating Officer, and the wider operational leadership team, helping shape the future of our services while ensuring we continue to deliver outstanding care to the communities we serve.

We are looking for someone who is highly organised, curious, confident working with senior stakeholders, and excited about getting involved in work that really matters. You'll need to be calm under pressure, quick to learn, and eager to get stuck in – whether it’s leading a project, turning data into action, or helping us navigate the demands of a fast-moving healthcare environment.

In this role, you’ll provide high-level, proactive support to the COO – from managing competing diary priorities, to preparing impactful briefings and presentations, and helping ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

At Imperial, we live by our values – Expert, Kind, Collaborative, Aspirational. If you're ready to make a difference,  grow your career, and be part of an exceptional team driving operational excellence across our Trust, we’d love to hear from you.
