The Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced and ambitious senior leader to the role of Business Development Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in supporting the organisation’s commercial growth and service development ambitions. The post holder will lead the development of commercial opportunities, business cases and partnership arrangements that support income generation, service sustainability and innovation, while ensuring alignment with NHS values, statutory responsibilities and organisational priorities.
Working across the organisation and with external partners, the Business Development Manager will provide strategic and specialist leadership on commercial development, contractual arrangements, pricing models and commissioned activity. The role will support the development and delivery of the Trust’s Commercial Plan, strengthen organisational commercial capability and ensure that commercial contracts and partnerships are managed effectively, with robust governance, performance oversight and financial control.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with significant experience in business development, commercial planning and contract management, ideally gained within a large, complex environment. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and skilled negotiator, with the ability to analyse complex financial and contractual information, influence at senior level and develop innovative opportunities that support sustainable service development.
