Job overview

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Breast Screening Service as a Band 3 Administrator reporting to the Office Manager.  The hours of work are 22.5 hours per week over 3 days, based at Cannock Chase Hospital, Cannock.  There maybe a requirement to work from our admin office based at Russell's Hall Hospital in Dudley on occasion.

The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust manages the Dudley, Wolverhampton and South-West Staffordshire Screening Service together with symptomatic breast imaging for Dudley.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a full and comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the clinical team and department including all tasks associated with the invitation and results processes for the breast screening programme.

Main duties of the job

To provide a full and comprehensive secretarial, administrative and reception service to patients, the clinical team and department including all tasks associated with the invitation and results processes for the breast screening programme, complex histology data inputting and clinic preparation in order to maintain an effective and efficient service as required for the Dudley, Wolverhampton and South-West Staffordshire Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Service.

To support the Band 4 post holders by picking up delegated tasks as and when required.

The post holder may be required to travel across Dudley, Wolverhampton and South-West Staffordshire to ensure robust cross cover administrative arrangements.
