An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join The Staff Bank Bureau in Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation, an CQC Outstanding Trust, based in Hatfield.

We are seeking a competent, experienced administrator with strong organisational skills to provide effective support to clinical and corporate services in the provision of booking appropriate staff to fill outstanding shifts within our Trust.

The post holder will receive and process availability notifications and booking requests using the electronic Bank booking system to cover with Bank or Agency staff (if applicable). The role will be to provide support to all wards Managers / Team Leaders to ensure Inpatients shifts are covered and help to meet the needs of the service. The post holder will communicate and build a working relationship with staff at all levels as well as external Agencies and provide administration support to the Bank Team when required.

Main duties of the job

Previous experience within administration is essential in addition to a sound knowledge of Microsoft packages and Healthroster / bank staff, excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate at all levels. Full training will be provided for this role. The booking Team would also be expected to undertake On Call one evening per week for two & half hrs. Detailed job description and main responsibilities

To contribute as part of the Staff Bank Bureau team in providing effective support to clinical and corporate services in the provision of booking appropriate staff to fill shifts and hours for the Trust services which request them.  This will include the booking of temporary administrative, nursing, allied health professionals and social work staff.
