We are a team of Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurses, Pelvic Health Physiotherapists and Assistant Practitioners with expertise in the care and treatment of bladder, bowel and pelvic health conditions, including pelvic floor dysfunction, continence and incontinence support.
We are supported by our administrative team. We offer a service to clients in Ashford, Canterbury and Coastal, South Kent Coast, Thanet and west Kent areas.
We have an opportunity for a Trainee Bladder and Bowel Specialist Nurse to join us on a 6 month secondment.
You will use your skills, knowledge and experience to deliver high quality continence services within the Kent Community Foundation NHS Trust. You will ensure they deliver excellent, effective and efficient clinical nursing services and be able to triage, assess, treat and manage clients with a bladder and/or bowel dysfunction and be able to refer on as appropriate.
You will provide a Bladder and Bowel Service within the Community setting and assist the Band 7 Specialist Nurse in the planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating specialist care for patients with bladder and/or bowel dysfunction.
Additional Working Pattern: M-F 0900-1700
As a community Trust many of our roles require individuals to be able to drive to perform their duties.
