Job overview

We are looking for a competent and versatile individual with experience in Cellular Pathology to provide technical support to the histology service. To be suitable for this role you must have a degree in Biomedical Science. A completed and assessed IBMS registration portfolio and state registration with the HCPC is preferred, but there may be an opportunity for the right individual to complete a portfolio under the Agenda for Change, Annex 21 provision.

Main duties of the job

The post holder is responsible for carrying out work in the Histology section of the Cellular Pathology Department. The post holder will be registered with the Healthcare Professions Council. The working hours will be 37.5 hours per week over standard core Agenda for Change hours.
